Hey all,

Just a reminder that if you haven’t signed up for the Patreon yet, you are missing out on some of our best content. Shame on you. Here’s a taste from this week’s Filmdrunk Frotcast.

DESCRIPTION:

It’s time for your weekly pour of content slop from your favorite podcast The Filmdrunk Frotcast. This week, Matt and Vince welcome Dan Ozzi back to the pod. Last time you heard from Dan, he was writing a book about pop punk rock in the 90’s and now he is making his triumphant return to talk about his BRAND NEW BOOK “Sellout: The Major Label Feeding Frenzy That Swept Punk, Emo, and Hardcore (1994-2007)” which you can purchase here at https://www.danozzi.com/books We talk about punk rock, Papa John, Pete Davidson’s magic dick, and how Machine Gun Kelly looks like he loves turtles. Enjoy!

TEASER: I’m a Chinese citizen, I have a joke with regards to your soft drink

Hey all,

Vince had a baby! So this week’s Frotcast is just Matt Lieb and Joe Sinclitico talking movies and Fentanyl deaths. Here is a teaser from our conversation about Fent and anti-Chinese racism. You can listen to the full episode on our Patreon. Become a subscriber NOW! Anyway, here is the description of the full ep:

Well, it’s happened. Vince Mancini has an adorable little newborn baby. Unfortunately, that means he had to be in the hospital all day rather than frotcast with me, so this week me and Joe Sinclitico grabbed the reigns and talked movies and junk. We discussed everything from babies, to fentanyl overdoses, to HBO’s Reminiscence by Westworld creator Lisa Joy. Despite the absence of Vince, it is a very good episode that I know you will enjoy.

TEASER: Romeo + Juliet = Twitter fight

Hey all,

Just a reminder that every week Vince and Matt have some exclusive Patreon content for you. Join now and listen to this amazing episode with comedian Grant Gordon.

DESCRIPTION

Hey Frotters, this week Vince Mancini and Matt Lieb welcome comedian Grant Gordon to the pod to discuss all sorts of movie junk and TV trash. We talk about the Emmy noms, TV theme music, Rob Schneider’s anti-vax madness, sex toys, and Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet with Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio. Also, Matt occasionally leaves the studio to say hi to his mom, though most of that is done off mic. Just figured you should know it’s happening so you’re not confused. Enjoy!

Frotcast 473 – The DeVil Wears Doggos

It’s time for your regularly scheduled program, the Filmdrunk Frotcast with Vince Mancini and Matt Lieb. This week, the boys watched the brand new Disney Plus movie event Cruella, an origin story for the fashionista/dog murdering villain from 101 Dalmatians. I’m positive this joke has been made before but it’s basically The Joker without all of that pesky incel energy. It’s a touching film about a #GirlBoss who slays the patriarchy on her long road to eventually slaying dogs. Run, don’t walk, to your nearest smart TV and stream it now.

We also discuss Bo Burnham’s new comedy special Inside as well as Ellie Kemper’s recent kerfuffle with being crowned the Yellow Queen at the KKK prom or something. Finally, Laremy Legal makes an appearance. Enjoy!

Frotcast 463 – The Second Stream with Jason Webb

We did it again! Against the wishes of Vince Mancini who hates his own face, the Frotcast has gone live again for a second time. This time there were a few less technical difficulties and we spent way less time talking movies because let’s be honest, who cares about movies? This week our guest was Jason Webb and we talked about the movie The White Tiger, as well as the “documentary” In and Of Itself which is basically Nanette for magicians. It’s impossible to describe without going insane so you may have to watch it in order to understand how frustrating of movie/magic special it was for us.

We also trade dad stories, which is just *chefs kiss*

Enjoy! And make sure to subscribe to the Frotcast YouTube Channel!

UNLOCKED: Frotcast 454: Toobin On Sorkin In ‘Trial Of The Chicago 7’

Hey all, this episode is from our Patreon bonus episodes but we feel like you piggies needed a free one. Here it is:

This week on the Frot, we’re talking about the hot new Sacha Baron Cohen project currently setting the internet wags on fire. That’s right, I’m talking about The Trial Of The Chicago 7, Aaron Sorkin’s new Netflix joint about hippies, protests, the radical left, broads who need a good talking to, brave men in uniform, and courtrooms (you’re free until next week, Rudy Giuliani). We discuss Sacha Baron Cohen’s bonkers  Boston accent (so strange coming from a guy who has spent his life doing weird accents in real-life situation) and the filmography of Aaron Sorkin in general. Sorkin had it all with this project — Boomer heroes, courtroom drama, a packed cast, a premise generally far less obnoxious than The Newsroom, and best of all, NO WOMEN. His whole wheelhouse. After years of giving him a hard time, we were so ready to finally give him his due. And yet he even managed to make this one kind of annoying at the end.

Before that, we discuss this week’s top story. That’s right, I’m talking about Jeffrey Toobin cranking his hog on a Zoom call. You’d think that would be the perfect joke for at least a week, but no, the internet had to quickly separate into warring camps of which teachable moment this incident best represented. We were going to debate that one in earnest, but you remember the Frotcast rule: no hugging, no learning. Only lumming. Finally, it’s an episode worth paying a premium for. No refunds.

Frotcast 448: Boys State and Wet Ass Pussies with Jason Webb

Hi again, it’s that time of week again where Matt and Vince take a break from their life of isolation with their significant others and talk to each other about wet ass pussies in perfect Irish accents and release the conversation for public consumption. Now that I’ve explained what podcasting is to you fine people, I think it’s best that I tell you what we talked about this week. On this week’s Frotcast, we invited comedian Jason Webb to the virtual frotquarters to talk about the upcoming Apple+ documentary Boys State which follows a group of high school teens as they take a crash course in running a political campaign. We also talk Cardi B’s hot new single WAP as well as the Ben Shapiro remix. Plus, there’s a brief update on the life of Jordan B Peterson and much more. It’s a good pod. Please listen.

Frotcast 429 – Glenn Danzig’s Albino Rape Spider w Grant Lyon

Hey ladies and fellas and everyone in! Time for another timely and regularly scheduled episode of the Filmdrunk Frotcast – the best podcast about movies ever made. This week, Matt and Vince welcome comedian Grant Lyon who not only knows Matt from the LA comedy scene but was also a fellow Banana Slug at UCSC. In this episode, Matt and Grant reminisce about a stand up comedy class at Santa Cruz and how it made them into the superstars they are today. Also, Vince explains Alex Jones’ DUI arrest and the new conspiracy theory that has cropped up behind it.

Finally, Matt and Vince discuss Glenn Danzig’s directorial debut film Verotika – a series of spooky vignettes that get progressively more lazy. The first and most robustly scripted vignette “The Albino Spider of Dajette” is about a big boobed Frenchwoman with eyes for nipples who cries on an albino spider causing it to transform into a man-sized albino spider who rapes and murders women whenever the Frenchwoman falls asleep. It’s hard to describe how bad this movie is without comparing it to the best bad movie of all time The Room. While Verotika is no Room, the albino rape spider is not far behind.

You can rent Verotika on YouTube or Amazon Prime now, or you could wait a couple of months for someone to leak “The Albino Spider of Dajette” on to liveleak or pornhub or something. Please pay us at Patreon.com/Frotcast.

Frotcast 428: More Like Super Boosday Am I Left?

What up all you wonderful Frotcast listeners out there. It’s time for another amazing episode of your all time favorite movie podcast! And boy did we talk about movies in this one. Yup. Yes sir. Movies were indeed discussed. But also, we recorded this episode a couple of hours before the polls closed on Super Tuesday so Vince and I, along with our guest the incomparable Jessica Sele, were just a wee bit distracted. In fact, one could say we were preemptively depressed about what we knew was coming AKA America momentarily forgetting that Joe Biden’s brain is mostly soup and voting for him instead of a Jewish socialist who had a heart attack and wants to give me healthcare. But hey, let’s not get all political. Politics are a distraction from the real news of the day: movie news.

In this episode, we discuss Moana, the Invisible Man, Hollow Man, the Coronavirus, and the fact that we will be in for for more years of Donald Trump if we nominate Joe Biden not because Biden is a bad person but because the youth vote, which Bernie has more of than any candidate since Barack Obama, is kinda fickle and will not show up for Biden. I mean, we’ll try to get them out to vote but damn man, it’s gonna be an uphill battle.

Anyway, enjoy!

Frotcast 427: Now More Than Ever, With Harry Moroz

Sup piggies! Are you ready for another week of movie and television news distilled into a palatable hour and a half of premium audio content? ME NEITHER! But you better get ready, because like it or not Matt and Vince have doomed themselves to a life of being your one stop shop for everything HOLLYWOOD. I’ll admit, this is all kind of stream of consciousness and I’m probably not making as much sense as I feel I’m making. This is Matt Lieb, by the way.

Anyway, this week Vince and I welcome back Harry Moroz to the podcast where we discussed everything from why comedy is actually not that important, to Michael Shannon’s short but memorable role in the movie 8 Mile. He was having sex with Eminem’s mom. We also begin preparing the rules for Vince’s annual Oscars drinking game.

And speaking of the Oscars, it’s time for a BIG FROTCAST NEWS ALERT! *airhorn* *airhorn* *airhorn* Vince and I are going to be doing a very special Oscars livestream this Sunday at 5pm PST, and you can watch it for free on the HotMic app available on the app store!
