UNLOCKED: Frotcast 449 – Russell Crowe Is Unhinged

Hey it’s time for another week of your favorite movie podcast probably! This week, Matt and Vince got a screener of Unhinged, the new Russell Crowe thriller about road rage or cancel culture or something. The boys break down the various themes and motifs of the film and how the mise en scène really blah blah blah I honestly know so little about film I can’t even fake a satirical post mocking it. Vince should really by the one writing these descriptions. He’s much better at it.

Also, we talked about mormons and Spider Woman. Enjoy!

Teaser – Frotcast 449: Russell Crowe Is Unhinged

I’s that time of the week again. The time when you can subscribe to our Patreon over at Patreon.com/Frotcast to hear our latest Frot.

In this installment, Matt and I discuss Unhinged, starring Russell Crowe as a road-raging psychopath who kiiinda seems like a more actually-homicidal version of Alex Jones. Before we get into that, we talk about the best names for next year’s Name Of The Year Draft that we came across this week, as well as the latest news in the movie world, like Olivia Wilde getting tapped to direct a Marvel movie and Guillermo Del Toro doing a stop-motion Pinocchio musical for Netflix. As the internet’s foremost source of factual movie news and not bad Irish accents or improvised songs about eating butt, you will probably love it. And we love you! Provided you go to Patreon and sign up. No refunds.

Frotcast 389: TEASER, David Gborie And Jules Posner

Episode 389 is up for our Patreon donors ($5 donors and up). Support the Frotcast on Patreon today!

Here’s the full episode description:

Frot fans, this right here is why you support the Patreon. Remember David Gborie, our Juggalo correspondent from Colorado? He’s back on the show, and guess what, he’s kind of blown up since his last appearance. He was even on Conan. David’s got some thoughts on Night School and Kevin Hart’s career arc. Also joining us is one of my favorite ex-San Francisco comedians, Jules Posner. Jules tells us what it’s like growing up not-rich in San Francisco with a dad who’s in a biker band. He also has some thoughts on Blindspotting. Naturally we’ve also got Matt Lieb blurting inappropriate thoughts and me, Vince Mancini, forcing the group to talk about Russell Crowe’s love affair with his horse. Enjoy, Frot on, and for the love of God tell a friend.
